In general, applications for fellowships and summer funding tend to go out in late Fall to early Spring semester. Application deadlines are often between January and March 2025, depending on the funding opportunity.

Doctoral Student Research Grant (DSRG)

This is an annual grant available to all doctoral students at The Graduate Center. Applications are typically due on January 31 of the academic year. Learn more here.

Past Opportunities

Social Mobility Lab

The Colin Powell School at City College of New York has launched The Social Mobility Lab, an initiative to support research and events about social mobility nationally and in higher education. They are inviting proposals from full-time faculty and doctoral students. Selected projects will be supported with up to $10,000.
